The Yarn |

Spinning the plastic bags turned out a lot softer than I had expected. I used the white twine as a core and spun the bag strips around it adding randomly parts of the wig, tinsel and pink fibers. |

I think from this picture this yarn looks so snugglely. Hard to imagine that it's 100% ( well at lest 98%) water proof. I'm pretty happy about the out come, now for the test... |

It Knits!!! And since it is waterproof, I knit up a little shower cap. |

I figured the band had to be tight to hold up the hair and not let too much water in. I have a very small head so I casted on 45 stitches onto size 10.5 circular needles. I knit in the round until the piece measured 3". Then I stitched on the plastic top. Quick and easy. |

The trial run. It works surprisingly well. Just as good as a store bought one, I always have stray hairs in the back that I miss anyways, but the yarn is waterproof. |
