A Little Bit About Stitch Ewe

Stitch Ewe Yarns are full of attitude and punky flare. I enjoy spinning anything I can find. Although I can spin a traditional 2 ply, most of the skiens that come off the wheel are definitely not.

I started spinning a couple of years ago. I started on a drop spindle.

I'm not sure when I was bit by the fiber bug, but my interest and passioin grew fast and furious. My house is packed with bags of wool and fiber, which drive my 4 pups insane, all those smells.

My wonderful Hubby gave me the gift of spin for Yule 2005. My wheel is a Kromski Symphony. Even though it is highly traditional in style, the violet wood stain gives it just enough punk for me.

For my birthday 2009 I got a HitchHiker Traveling Wheel. It's a double treadle and I love it.

Who's behind the Wheel?

Well, my name is Steph and I live with my awesome Hubby, Mike, beautiful daughter and 3 German Shorthair Pointers. I'm into all things crafty. I'm an Art School Major and I work as a free-lance Graphic Desinger. I love spinning, kintting and drawing.
